Yep, got my Charger back and I can relax again!:D The "Silver Streak" now has tinted windows (as much as the law would allow, I'm told) and a Black rear spoiler! Starting to make a Statement. I guess I have come to "name" the R/T. Since it IS Silver AND since Mopars are KNOWN to MOVE OUT, just seems like "Silver Streak" is what it ought to be called. I would call it the "SS", but in the Chevy Camps, SS stands for Super Sport. OR I could call it the "SS Express". I think it runs pretty Darn good NOW, but I AM anxious to see just HOW it runs AFTER the Performance mods (that will have to come with time, depending on what I can do in the way of boosting my income). For now, I'll be looking at less expensive mods that I can do. That one about lighting up the cup holders is cool enough. Wanting to look at those vent shades that fit into the tracks also. Looking for ideas.

Something funny about today is, the Internet Sales Manager for Breeden Dodge is who I've dealt with the last 2 times and he brought me back to my house,after I had delivered my R/T to them. Well, HE is ALSO the one who came back to get me, when my car was ready. I had the CBX sitting out in the front yard because I used it while I was without the R/T and I think he fell in love with the CBX. He REALLY looked it over (It DOES look good for an '80 model) and then we went back to Breeden's and as I was getting ready to leave, he asked me that IF I WAS to sell the CBX, what would I want for it. I had to tell him (again) I wasn't going to sell it. But, IF I ever DID decide to, I would keep him in mind. lol!

That's why I wouldn't bother putting anything like that on the FRONT, cause they'd NEVER see it! :D

the grille looks chrome in the pics? is it black or chrome?

It's the honeycomb insert behind the actual grille. Sorry bout that. I Am planning to pull the cross hairs and paint that though (later on).

Thanks, I really need to watch my terms, so as not to confuse anyone. As I just saw a picture of a silver charger with the GRILLE painted, I have decided to go the same route. I just am not totally sure if I want it to be black, or Silver, the color of the car. Just have to wait and se which way I decide to go with THAT one.
