I'm Bill from Greenwood, AR and honored to be a part of this bunch, even though I don't have a Modern Mopar (except an 06' Grand Caravan SXT), yet DO have a Mopar with some Muscle (being a 69' Plymouth GTX) in the way of a warmed up 440 Super Commando backed up with a 4sp. So, hope you don't mind a bit of Vintage Mopar in the field.;)

Well, things have changed a bit. and in May 2010, I traded the above mentioned Grand Caravan, for an '07 Charger R/T and have started to do the mods to it! Still have the GTX BTW, no way am I getting rid of IT!

All of our State Police marked Chargers are Hemis. We have some unmarked cars that are V6s. Some PDs use the V6. So to answer your question, there is a V6 Police Package...

There is a V6 ASP marked unit here in Little Rock (called Dirty Thirty). They use it not only for working the roads, but it's actually the car used for the diecast models, and pictures available at the ASPA.

Yea, there were 12 Chargers purchased in 06 to test. 6 were V6s and 6 Hemis. From that test, it was determined that the Hemi was more suited for Highway Patrol. All marked units after that were Hemis. Those remaining V6s should all be retiring in the near future (if not already) for mileage.

The Challenger is great. Well worth the wait...

Well, I'm a little slow to get to talking to folks, til I get to know more and all. I'm not as bad as I used to be, IF I was I'd never have made it down there.:rolleyes: I'm sure that we'll see each other again and I'll be more comfortable too. That's a REALLY Slick Charger that YOU have AND, in fact, it's the same color as the one I was originally going for, but just couldn't work out a deal. It's quite obvious that YOU'VE been dabbling with the Moditis as well.:cool: Thank you for the compliments on the car, it's got a long way to go. I'm feeling good about it though. You KNOW, YOU are the only one to mention the Black R/T emblem? I Really thought that Dodge should have put one there anyway, so I did! Now, I didn't want to misrepresent the car, so I painted the inset black. looking forward to seeing you again, as I am hoping to be able to get to more of these events.;)

I actually wanted to do the same thing a while back and paint the emblem black, but the guy shipped me them emblem in a paper envelope with no padding whatsoever and the bracket was broken off so I kinda put it on the backburner

Mcghauy's 2/4.5 lowering kit, toxic shocks, Bentchi 26" rims with 305/30/26's, Flowmaster exhaust single in single out dumped, 5% tint, 2 Kicker 12" CVT's under the back seat, Roll pan, Smoked tails with LED rings, LED 3rd break light, Projector Headlights, smoked fog lights, Ram air hood, K&N filter.... Have a vertical grille I just need to install. Had vertical door kit, but it don't fit my truck, in the middle of trying to sue the guy that ripped me off. Still have a lot to do, but it's getting there.

My car came in over the weekend, picked it up Monday....absolutely LOVING IT!!!

I'm Dusty, obviously. I drive a bone stock black 2010 SXT. Well, stock except for the lights and sirens. I'm a firefighter so it has a few LEDs on it. So far I'm planning red war paint (already acquired) red calipers, black open spoke 22s, a spoiler, uconnect, and an R/T exhaust.

Will do here shortly, just got back from APF in sherwood. Cut it off short and had a super 40 and turndown put in. Sounds.....different. Much louder, not as low as I'm used to with V8s obviously, but I like it.
