bill440cars 06-11-2010, 03:20 AM I just went and got the system that came off of an '09 SRT* Super Bee and brought it home To Be Installed At My Earliest Possible time! AND, I've got a couple of "Other things coming SOON! Have to post them in their appropriate place though.;) Might be kinda interesting when I show up at Hot Springs.

Thanks, I'm sure it will be a great sound as well. I don't have anyway to put it on here though. The car Will be at Hot Springs though and, Hopefully at other outings soon.;) It certainly seems to be larger than MY system, the tips ARE larger for sure.

I was pretty wasted after the trip up there and back, dealing with all of the traffic and not having ever been there before. Guess my age is starting to show.
I'm just glad that I got the chance to pick up on this deal cause I usually get beat out on the good ones. that exhaust system looks great and I'm sure it will work out great.;)
Thanks again, Bill

Thanks Ed. Really appreciate it. Yeah, I'm getting into it as much as I can. This exhaust sure will save me some bucks AND I just might not go any farther, as far as the exhaust system goes (at least, on the subject a a Cat back goes). Seems like it will be mainly putting a jack under the converter, taking care of the 6 mounts, loosing the clamps on the pipes AND working the system out of the pipes. Isn't that about it? Now, I know that it could be a pain to slide the system out of the pipes and I'm hoping that I will be getting tips about actually separating the system, from those who have been there.
Now maybe I should let you all in on a secret know only by me and a couple of others. I mentioned something awhile back, about the possibility of putting a trailer hitch on a Charger and got several different comments . Noe really bad, but obviously different thoughts on the subject. When I traded off my '06 Grand Caravan, which I had a hitch on, I suddenly had no dependable way of taking my riding mower down to my Dad's place to take care of his yard. And, now and then I need to haul things. Not to mention that I have a motorcycle trailer and IF I go to a Car Show or a Meet & Greet w/ a car show, I COULD haul my Honda CBX on the trailer, put the car in the show and get around on the CBX. What I am getting at is, I have already dropped the original exhaust (except for actually pulling the system out of the pipes., to put on the Valley brand "Hidden Hitch". Now, when the "Hidden Hitch" isn't being used, you'd have to look pretty hard to notice it.
Okay, NOW you know, MY Charger R/T has a "Trailer Hitch". So Flog me, Ban me or whatever. I just have to have the availability of a Hitch and it came in pretty handy, when the SRT8 exhaust came up for sale, needing to be picked up.;)
So, with that being said, back to my question, is it gonna be a snug fit getting the R/T's exhaust system off of those pipes and getting the SRT8's into them?
