The 1/8th mile track just south of Lawton is going to be open on Sundays for test and tune until it gets to cold. They open the gates at noon. We were out there today and there was a decent turn out. You can make as many passes as you want for 20 bucks. Spectators are 7 dollars. Would be nice to see some more modern Mopars out there. So if you feel like seeing what your ride can do, come on out. I've only seen one other SRT8 out there this season and it was the SRT8 Jeep. Need to get some Challengers out there to play with the Mustang crowd.

I have been out there a couple times but get way too much wheel hop with the 6 speed.. Maybe it will grip a little better in cooler temps. What kind of numbers are you putting up?

Best time was a 7.07....The fastest it went today was 7.10...The other times were in the 7.2s...It still slips alot on those DRs but luckily I took my wife and son out there with me and she actually suggested I buy some bigger slicks and smaller front wheels......Man she is good to me:rolleyes:

Cooler Temps are going to cause more spin...drop your air..That will stop the hop

Yea, they get them all out there. The only thing there isn't enough of out there is MOPAR muscle. A couple of brothers with their old Cudas show up and mid 70s Duster makes an appearance every once in a while. They'll get imports, diesels, back halved cars, chassis cars, trucks, bikes and sometimes a group of guys show up with their ATVs. They are wicked fast....These guys put Busa engines on their ATVs. First time I saw them, I thought it must be a bunch of drunks showing up to play but when the kid took off I was very impressed. Season is slowing down and they don't get big crowds for T&T this late in the year.
