Woman called me this afternoon saying she is selling her hyundai tomorrow and needs it buffed and detailed before then. I told her I would do it tonight instead of sleeping lol :D Anyway she sent me some pictures and this thing is in badddd shape. I don't know how long its gonna take to have this thing looking good (Doesn't help its black and scratched to crap) Will be posting pics of my progress throughout the night. Wish me luck!

ya so I don't know what I've gotten myself into. Turns out what she claims is tree sap all over the car is actually the paint bubbling up. The car looks as if someone took it through a touch car wash with chicken wire. The paint is also peeling off the rear bumper. There s no way this lady wants to spend $400 on me making the paint perfect on a car shes about to sell for 1500 bucks lol

alright so this car is a flippin disaster, just called the lady and told her she's blowing money for me to be trying to correct the paint on the entire car, she agreed to just have me do the interior. I just don't understand why she was so set on having it detailed when she already agreed on the price with the guy who is buying it tomorrow....

ya it was a lost cause.
Depends on what the person wants, people do everything from just a wash and wax, to clay bar and polish, to buffing and full on paint correction.
I do a guys lexus every two weeks that is about the same size. I think it comes out to about $40-$70 depending on how dirty it is and if he needs me to do his windows (smoker)

That's not bad at all. There is a place locally that asks for about $120 to do just the inside - or something like that!
Do you ever bring your stuff with you to NWA?

Don't get me wrong lol, one guy had me do paint correction and everything on his avalanche and it came out to be $450, I also spent about 10 hours on it though...
No I don't I have several people who have asked me to, but I have to bring my mini trailer and its a 3 and a half hour drive so it's not really worth it. Also, when I'm there for school, I am too busy to be detailing cars and when I'm not in school or on weekends I'd rather be going to cruise ins or hanging out with friends than detailing cars up there
