OK so I am now awaiting delivery on my new Hurst shifter. They say no later then next Tuesday. Here is the link with pictures.

I'm hoping Ed will let me do it at his garage under his supervision. I'll get him to take photos and then I'll write up a step by step on it. I think these really look sharp and the group buy on them is pretty awesome. They still have a few left. BMC was great to work with. I dealt with Lisa and she went out of her way to help me.

It 169.88 shipped to the us48. They still had a few left as of close of business today but I wouldn't count on them lasting too long. If you are interested, you should PM Lisa at BMC. She was great to work with and was willing to help out anyway she could. Can't wait to get mine in:D

SHIFTER WILL BE HERE TOMORROW. Peon got the same one and he already has his in and it looks sharp. I cant believe how little patience I have been able to have waiting on this. My boss at work is giving me a hard time cause I'm always on the computer tracking my package. LOL It's cool though. I'm probably just going to put it on at his house Ed. It looks pretty straight forward and i don't thinnk I can wait till I can get to Your house to do it. LOL Dang I guess i really have the bug now!!!!

OK so now I'm all bummed out. I got my shifter today but apparently Dodge put a few 08 shifters in the later model 07s and I ended up with one. I had to call Hurst and now I have to wait for BMC to fax Hurst a copy of my reciept so they can send me an upgrade. I wonder how long this will take>>>>>>>

Oh I have no doubt the great people there will do whatever they can and the guy I talked to at Hurst was very helpful also. Just disappointed I didnt get to install it today. Thats OK though. I made the mistake years ago of asking God to give me patience. he in His own different brand of humour often gives me lessons that teach me patience. LOL :)

Believe me bro that is no mistake. The only way I deal with most stuff is because of patience.

OK so I'm waiting on Hurst to send me the updated shifter rod now. Got the kit riding around in the backseat. LOL If I get anytime this weekend I may go ahead and put the plate and stuff in. Hope everyone has a great time tomorrow. It came with a pretty cool badge that has Hurst equipped on it. I'm trying to think of a good place to put it. Thought about maybe making a mount and putting it on the grille somewhere. Any suggestions?

I personally think I would put it under the CHARGER lettering on the trunk, kinda like the old school Hurst Olds had if I remeber correctly

Yeah that is where my friend Mike suggested. Only he wanted me to take the Charger badge off and I'm probably not ever doing that. Just so everyone knows I'm bitten by the speed bug and am now kicking myself for being too:o level headed and going with the SXT. Dont get me wrong I love my car..:D... but the best i could hope for out of it would be 325 RWHP and that is yet to be proved. I've thought about the supercharger from BMC but still wont be up to a stock Hemi HP. I guess I could use the money in January to trade in but man I really love my car. I should've known this would happen as I was what other kids called a motorhead when i was a kid.

OK so I see now that this thread got away from me just a tad bit. So back on topic!!! I tripped out to the mail box today and what did I find? A couple of packages that eased my mind. OK so thats is all the ryhme I have in me. I found my upgraded shifter stick and my third brake light cover. Will post about the third brake light cover in the appropriate place. I was gonna do a step by step for ya'll but the instructions that came with it were pretty darn accurate. Anyway i got it in, took about 45 minutes. Here are the pictures.
