I'm hoping Ed will let me do it at his garage under his supervision. I'll get him to take photos and then I'll write up a step by step on it. I think these really look sharp and the group buy on them is pretty awesome. They still have a few left. BMC was great to work with. I dealt with Lisa and she went out of her way to help me.
hawkeye4077 10-28-2009, 08:53 PM Of course I'll help you Joe:) Its really a pretty simple mod. I was thinking of getting one for the Daytona
Craftsman 10-28-2009, 08:57 PM Thanks Ed, I'll let you know when it comes in so we can setup a time!!

Craftsman 10-28-2009, 10:55 PM do they still have some available? and are they charging shipping or is it included?
It 169.88 shipped to the us48. They still had a few left as of close of business today but I wouldn't count on them lasting too long. If you are interested, you should PM Lisa at BMC. She was great to work with and was willing to help out anyway she could. Can't wait to get mine in:D
That is nice................almost wish I had an auto..............ok..........not really.......love my 6 speed............but that is really NICE!!!!!!!!!

Craftsman 10-31-2009, 12:18 PM Ok so I think my shifter is taking a tour of all the southern states. LOL It is finally in Mesquite TX though and should be making its way into Oklahoma sometime soon. :D

Obviously it's not traveling in a Charger!!!!!!!
Craftsman 11-03-2009, 12:38 AM SHIFTER WILL BE HERE TOMORROW. Peon got the same one and he already has his in and it looks sharp. I cant believe how little patience I have been able to have waiting on this. My boss at work is giving me a hard time cause I'm always on the computer tracking my package. LOL It's cool though. I'm probably just going to put it on at his house Ed. It looks pretty straight forward and i don't thinnk I can wait till I can get to Your house to do it. LOL Dang I guess i really have the bug now!!!!
KENSBADAZRT 11-03-2009, 04:26 AM Have the bug now??? You've had it all along Joe!!! It just manifest itself in the form of a nasty "constant" longing for your mod to arive!!!! hahaha lol

Black Magic 11-03-2009, 01:01 PM Or it's the longing for the next mod... and the next... and the next.... and the next.... sometimes you get the shakes....
Craftsman 11-04-2009, 01:22 AM OK so now I'm all bummed out. I got my shifter today but apparently Dodge put a few 08 shifters in the later model 07s and I ended up with one. I had to call Hurst and now I have to wait for BMC to fax Hurst a copy of my reciept so they can send me an upgrade. I wonder how long this will take>>>>>>>
Black Magic 11-04-2009, 01:23 AM Damn that sucks... hope you get it quickly!
FOST3RS CHARG3R 11-04-2009, 01:27 AM Oh man that's a major bummer... sorry bro
hawkeye4077 11-04-2009, 01:30 AM Sorry that happened Joe. I'm sure they will make it right for you hopefully in a timely manner. BMC is great about taking care of their customers.
Craftsman 11-04-2009, 01:53 AM Oh I have no doubt the great people there will do whatever they can and the guy I talked to at Hurst was very helpful also. Just disappointed I didnt get to install it today. Thats OK though. I made the mistake years ago of asking God to give me patience. he in His own different brand of humour often gives me lessons that teach me patience. LOL :)

Believe me bro that is no mistake. The only way I deal with most stuff is because of patience.

HonkEwitDaJeep 11-07-2009, 12:43 AM Yeah, Daak we can fix that for ya! SRT SRT SRT SRT SRT lol, but you gotta learn to not tear em up first haha
Craftsman 11-07-2009, 12:49 AM OK so I'm waiting on Hurst to send me the updated shifter rod now. Got the kit riding around in the backseat. LOL If I get anytime this weekend I may go ahead and put the plate and stuff in. Hope everyone has a great time tomorrow. It came with a pretty cool badge that has Hurst equipped on it. I'm trying to think of a good place to put it. Thought about maybe making a mount and putting it on the grille somewhere. Any suggestions?
hawkeye4077 11-07-2009, 12:51 AM Yeah, Daak we can fix that for ya! SRT SRT SRT SRT SRT lol, but you gotta learn to not tear em up first haha
he's young landon
HonkEwitDaJeep 11-07-2009, 12:51 AM I personally think I would put it under the CHARGER lettering on the trunk, kinda like the old school Hurst Olds had if I remeber correctly
hawkeye4077 11-07-2009, 12:57 AM I personally think I would put it under the CHARGER lettering on the trunk, kinda like the old school Hurst Olds had if I remeber correctly
That would be correct Landon. I'm planning on this for the Daytona
Craftsman 11-07-2009, 01:00 AM I personally think I would put it under the CHARGER lettering on the trunk, kinda like the old school Hurst Olds had if I remeber correctly
Yeah that is where my friend Mike suggested. Only he wanted me to take the Charger badge off and I'm probably not ever doing that. Just so everyone knows I'm bitten by the speed bug and am now kicking myself for being too:o level headed and going with the SXT. Dont get me wrong I love my car..:D... but the best i could hope for out of it would be 325 RWHP and that is yet to be proved. I've thought about the supercharger from BMC but still wont be up to a stock Hemi HP. I guess I could use the money in January to trade in but man I really love my car. I should've known this would happen as I was what other kids called a motorhead when i was a kid.
hawkeye4077 11-07-2009, 01:05 AM Once a motorhead always a motorhead
HonkEwitDaJeep 11-07-2009, 01:07 AM I think Joe is telling me he wants us to find him a good deal on and SRt,SRT,SRT,SRT!!!!
Craftsman 11-07-2009, 01:09 AM Yeah the SRT would be really sweet but IDK I'll wait till after the first of the year then decide.
HonkEwitDaJeep 11-07-2009, 01:11 AM Ok I will keep an eye out for ya!
Craftsman 11-07-2009, 01:17 AM Thanks alot Landon now youve got me looking at SRT's on autotrader.
hawkeye4077 11-07-2009, 01:23 AM I think Joe is telling me he wants us to find him a good deal on and SRt,SRT,SRT,SRT!!!!
That can be arranged :D:D:cool:
HonkEwitDaJeep 11-07-2009, 01:24 AM lol, Joe we will get you into one!

HonkEwitDaJeep 11-07-2009, 01:43 AM no it is the color of my truck, dark blue, Ed's is B5blue (actually it is blue surf pearl) but advertised as b5blue lol
Craftsman 11-07-2009, 01:47 AM OK OK OK that is enough!!!!! I cant do this for at least another year or so. Landon is gonna give me a set of blue ---ls by then. LOl I gotta get some sleep. Hope ya'll have a nice day tomorrow, either at work or play.

Craftsman 11-13-2009, 01:29 AM OK so I see now that this thread got away from me just a tad bit. So back on topic!!! I tripped out to the mail box today and what did I find? A couple of packages that eased my mind. OK so thats is all the ryhme I have in me. I found my upgraded shifter stick and my third brake light cover. Will post about the third brake light cover in the appropriate place. I was gonna do a step by step for ya'll but the instructions that came with it were pretty darn accurate. Craftsman 12-13-2009, 11:51 PM Give em moditis then when they order something tell em it's on national backorder and it may be a month before they see it.
