Thought I'd ask here before I started researching the web. I want to put a wider set of street wheels/tires to help keep my car stuck to the road. I've read about cars running "autobahn" type setups but they never put what type or size wheels are on the cars.

Does anyone know what is the largest wide wheel offset that can be mounted on a SRT8 without rolling the fenders? Thanks

Bruce

I know some guys have had their stock srt wheels widened by 1.25 inches, not sure if they had to roll the fenders because of this though. You might ask 09Plym he races quite a bit

Thanks for the advice!..I checked the specs on the wheels I use at the track but I want a deeper offset for street use. I found an article that explains how to measure everything in the wheel well to figure it out. So I'll take a wheel off this weekend and see what I can get away with.

I think the widest tire you can run is a 305 without rubbing issues or other modifications....
