didnt use paint............used plastidip............was scared i wasnt gonna like it so using the plasti dip i can peel it off...........you can pick it up at lowes for like $8 a can

yep..........tested it on a center cap...........peeled right off...........doesnt hurt the finish...........

how does that stuff hold up to soap and water or a power washer?

depends on the paint and how you prep them. ive had mine painted for the last 4 months. ive off roaded with them.drive thru car wash. they hold up pretty good.

dunno about the power washer...........i was my car by hand............

i wash mine by hand as well but i do it in a wash bay at a car wash and rinse it off with the power washer

yes it a pt and no its not turbo............wife cant drive a standard and the auto turbo's only got 184 hp...........where the standards have 230............

does it matter what kinda wheel you use that stuff on??? i have a set of chrome moto metal wheels on my truck with alot of little grooves an stuff...sounds scetchy

Yeah man I wouldn't do it on chrome unless you want to spend time scuffing it for the paint to sick. Alloy wheels are the best. Or there is a guy in Edmond who can powder coat for like 50$ a wheel

I've seen peoplemon DT who put this over chrome bumpers and chrome clad wheels. No issues - no "prep"

Just saying from experience. Especially if your going to do any wheelin. No prep. You should keep a can handy for touch up. And once it starts peeling the more you add to it the worse off you are. I'll post pics of what happens without prep on chrome wheels.

you dont need any prep with the stuff I used.............its called Plasti-Dip............its a rubber type coating...........not paint.............
