It was my lucky day today! I got a free custom paint job in less than a second. I was backing out of the elementry school where they have recycle bins, trying to be a good human, and pop! what the heck was that? ewww whats that smell? Free NEON pink sprinkles everywhere. Someone left a can of spray paint laying right in the middle of the road just for me.

Ah crap!!!

I would be pissed.

Check with your insurance. May be covered under Road Hazard.

Thats terrible tonja  I'd definately contact the ins co... It should be covered. Looks like they might have to paint that whole side. Keep us informed as to what happens.

Might come off easier than you think. I doubt you will have to have it repainted.

sorry to see, but thats not worth calling your insurance company over. You could take that to a good detailer and for a couple bills he would have you all cleaned off, buffed, and ready to roll in a couple hours.

Someone mentioned gasoline? I've never heard of Goof-Off, is that like tar remover? I just dont want anything to damage the clearcoat.

I almost freaked, I let out a loud scream that might have been heard 100 miles away, but I took a breath and just had to laugh, because I am so anal about this car, I love it, I don't want anyone near it, ... blah blah blah... Its like that can of pink paint was meant for me.

I'm glad you got it taken care of at a resonable price. Stuff like this is why I'm a tech and not a paint & body guy
