Well, fact is, I'm needing one in the worst way. Yep, I need the oil pan AND oil pickup tube from a 440 truck engine (rear sump) and SOME RV 440s had them as well. I CAN get a new pan for $99.95 and may have to go that route. Need to know asap. Thanks for looking, Bill;)

Thanks Terrence, I'm gonna check that out. I was trying to find the actual listing on ebay, when my internet connection started acting up again! I am So PUT OUT (Best way I can describe it, w/o getting rude about it) that I am ready for that new service NOW! :mad: Ya know, there was a time when I would have used all kinds of choice words, about now. But since I quit that, quite a few years ago, it became harder to express my feelings about something like this. Just suffice it to say that I would like to send a "Lightning Bolt" back through the wires, to where my service comes from and blow up their equipment! :rolleyes: Sure am looking forward to tomorrow! A buddy of mine has had Cox Internet for several years now and has had nothing but good things to say about it. I can hardly wait! It came back on or I wouldn't be able to post this. :rolleyes:

You see, when I got to ebay (amongst my Internet issues), I saw the orange one, that not only doesn't need any repairs, it also had the pickup tube to go with it. So, I've getting a decent used pan and pickup for $86 and I was looking at about $150 for a new set. Tanks Terrence, I am indebted to you Buddy. ;) So now, I pay for them, have them sent to the fellow who makes the mod for the pan, like I need and he puts it with the other parts and ships them all to me. :D So then, all I have to do is wait!

But you know what I heard about "wait"?

"Weight" is what broke the bridge down! :D
