Welcome to GPMM! Yeah I love the Dodge trucks, if I was going to buy a truck I'd buy a Ram hands down.
What kind of mods do you have planned for your truck?
916Timmy 02-16-2011, 05:41 PM I've got the Hemi.....long term plans include a trip down to dallas for a new Inertia camand maybe some light head work, BellTech 2/4 drop with black SRT-10 22", paint match grille and bumpers (chem strip and paint stock junk) and thats about it for the big stuff....already have hid's and a custom exhaust.

916Timmy 02-16-2011, 05:43 PM If anyone knows a cheap body shop that can strip the chrome bumpers / grille and repaint them to match.....by all means feel free to let me know!!!! OKC or anywhere somewhat close if the price is good enough. I don't really know how much this would normally cost. I'm all ears!
Terrence 02-16-2011, 05:53 PM Thanks everyone! Are there many truck members on here?
Im a truck memeber :D
Terrence 02-16-2011, 05:54 PM Welcome from Lawton. There are a few memers with trucks. Terrence will chime in I'm sure.
lol good call :)
HonkEwitDaJeep 02-16-2011, 06:05 PM I am not sure of the cost to strip them but it might be cheaper to order the sport bumpers and have them painted. Then sell your chrome ones, or find someone with a sport o the same color and work out a swap. Just an idea
916Timmy 02-16-2011, 06:12 PM The back is a straight swap which I will probably buy sport and sell my chrome one. There are a ton of people who want exhaust cutout bumpers. The front however is very expensive to swap from mine to the sport...like 1500 bucks. It is completely different setup. And no Sport owner in their right mind should trade for my setup :) I wouldn't let them!!!
I also want to colormatch my door handles and mirrors.....and possibly shave the FM antenna....
Here is a paint matched big horn, same look, just has the line across the bumper between the two pieces that the sport doesn't have

E.L.D. 44 02-23-2011, 11:43 PM I think the sport bumper is worth the money. Much smoother lines. Tucks in instead of sticking out like the chrome one. Maybe try a salvage yard? Might get lucky there.
916Timmy 02-24-2011, 03:16 AM Maybe, I know swapping to the true sport front end is a TON of money! The rear is easy
E.L.D. 44 02-24-2011, 04:00 AM Although in your rendering you had the bumpers in gunmetal. If you kept that color scheme I'd stick with the chrome ones. Wouldn't look as good on a sport bumper
