I've been told there is no tint laws for OK but I've read that we're like 25%. I've got 5% on the rear, 15% drivers and passengers doors and I work with the cops and none has said a thing. I've drove to Houston and back and not stopped once.

Not sure about the tails.

I have 7% all around except the windshield. I don't think there are any laws

great find, prospector. 25% is the rule, but I have never heard of anyone getting hassled for less. I have around 5% and have never been pulled over. As far as the tails, I think the rule is that as long as your brake lights are visible at a distance of 60ft away, then you are okay. I spent probably an hour searching for this law online before, but that was about a year ago so I don't know where it came from. Try searching under the Legal Research tab on oscn.net if you want all the state statutes. Again, the tint on my tails is dark and its never been an issue.

So did you just have the tint put on your stock lens or do you buy them that way?

actually, mine are painted. After I received the painted lights, I returned my stock ones as a core replacement to Tran in Fort Worth. There are plenty of people who can do this work, though.

If anyone has seen my car. Then u know Oklahoma is pretty lac when it comes to tint laws. Limo tint and blacked out tails. Never had any problems. My first charger had limo tint on it and when I went to Pennsylvania I got pulled over pretty quick and they searched my car for drugs. Lol. I think Oklahoma understands things such as the heat in summer and our right to privacy a little more than some states.

I know here in tulsa most shops wont go below 35% on the front two doors. as for the rest they will do 5%. BUT there are a lot of places if you talk to them a bit will go a head and do the 5%. And in all my cars I have owned I have never been pulled over for tint that is. I wouldnt go below 25% on the front doors. On non lit area's makes it hard to see at night. But then again tulsa hasnt been turning on thier streetlights at night to save $$$$

I've never been pulled over for tint, not even in my 4x4 with 2 layers of limo black 5% on the doors.
