Depending on what brand you use, toughest part of the job is the connection to the fuel supply line from the tank. It takes a special tool to disconnect. Believe it or not the plastic tool is better than the metal ones for this. I hare done most of this when I installed my nitrous setup. ChargerH2O 11-11-2009, 06:12 AM Sorry I cant help you there. Someone with more experience will chime in soon! Bee576 12-10-2009, 02:14 AM How hard is it to change out the fuel rails? would I need a programmer or anything if I did it? Don't know if you are still interested in swapping out fuel rails. If so, I can pull the instructions on how to do it from my service manual CD. Send me a PM if your interested. I'm not for sure but I wouldn't think you'd need to have a tuner unless you swapped out the injectors too. I've got the CSR rails on my car and I was told that they are better than stock because they ensure that the fuel pressure across all injectors is equal which the stock ones fall off a little bit. Don't know how true it is but that's what the techs down at HPE told me. vBulletin® v3.8.4, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
