Title explains itself. I plan to do this soon, any tips, tricks or advice? I know I need to get springs and push rods and tune the MDS out but other than that what does everyone have to say about this? Ready, GO!

I don't think there is very much benefit to this swap except price. I asked about this for my truck, and everyone said buy a better cam. Not sure if it is much different on the cars though.

I agree with Timmy, the cost outweighs the benefit. Call up inertia motorsports and let him recommend a cam for you

If you got the stock SRT cam for cheap and you are gonna do the swap yourself then yeah go for it. There will be some gains, not sure what though

You will get 30 HP gain..If your going to do the work your self It's a good gain for cheap. If your going to have a shop do it it isnt the best bet unless you get a nice Mid range Power Cam. I also reccommend you run the SRT Exhaust manifolds and Mids as well with the SRT Cam or any Cam setup, and get a EGR Block off kit.SRT Manis are cheap and should be pretty easy to locate with the Mids and Cats. The EGR Kit is at Billet Tech has one in color of your choice... Even if you dont do the Cam swap..try to find a SRT Exhaust for sure. The 5.7 Exhaust manifolds are a BIG Choke point on the 5.7 HEMI Engine. You wont regret the SRT Headers..and the SRT Cam WILL jump you 30 HP. From my experiance this set of mods will get you 35-38 HP Gain. Then after this is all done get a good Custom Tune done and load it with Predator..your looking a close to 40 HP...With a performance Cam..MORE!!!
