I had a question about painting my engine pieces.... I have some left over touch up paint ... am I able to use this on my engine... well the part that say 3.5 liter??? I want to do this myself and I was reading that as long as the part doesnt get tooo hot you can use the exterior touch up paint.. do you think this will work? If so im gonna be doing some engine painting.. hehe

Cool Yo Ive been thinking of the same thing. Actually Im thinking of powder coating the valve covers. They should stand up to 400 degrees dont yall think?

Didnt know for sure what I could spray on it cause of the material of it.. My engine is always real clean and I dont want to mess it up .. judges always comment on how my engine bay looks... so I wanna keep it that way.:D

Joe I think for powdercoating you get them to 425 for 15 minutes to get the coating to take. after that if the piece gets hotter than 425 it might effect the coating.... not sure though
