So...In april I ordered a Extreme Dimensions luxe bumper cover from bodykits.com.
In june it arrived,it didn't have any broken parts but was missing the grill work that the ad said came with it.
A call to bodykits said they would send it.
I waited a week and then desided to take the bumper to the shop since I had other things I wanted to do....That's when things went down hill.

A call to bodykits said they would send it.
I waited a week and then desided to take the bumper to the shop since I had other things I wanted to do....That's when things went down hill.
The body shop called and pointed these problems out...
1- the bumper doesn't fit at the corners...

The more you pull it where it goes the more the front buckles out.
2-Waves all over that can not be fixed...

3-Pits,scratches and bumps everywhere.....

4-Raw cut marks around the grill opening, also notice the fiberglass patteren that would have to be smoothed out before paint.

The body shop (place that restores muscle cars and classic's) said it would take $1,500-$2,000 to fix this on top of making it fit.
Bodykits.com is giving me the runaround wanting photo's of it on the car Not going to happen and after 4 weeks they havent sent grill work either.
Extreme Dimensions says they can't help cause I didn't buy from them, even though it's their crappy product.
So stay away from both......

A shame really...I like the design and wanted to use it.:(
Yeah I actually won an Extreme Dimensions kit in a giveaway and sold it to another Avenger Forumz guy sight unseen (had it shipped directly to him instead of me).
The guy he took it to spent weeks repairing cracks and reinforcing the flimsy bumpers with additional fiberglass. I would imagine their duraflex kits aren't bad, but their fiberglass stuff is extremely low quality and you probably need to be prepared to spend a lot of additional time and money making them fit right.
It's an unfortunate fact of life that most aftermarket body parts are crap. When I was running a car dealership, the body shop was forced to use aftermarket parts by the insurance companies. The bodymen hated the aftermarket parts since it took a lot of time to get them to fit properly, where an OEM part would bolt right up with no problem.
Hope it works out for you.
