Like I've said, mine ain't Modern, but it sure is Mopar MUSCLE!:cool:

440 Super Commando, block and heads have been decked, 11 to 1 compression, Purple Cam, New rockers and lifters, Electronic ignition, 750 Holley w/ vacuum secondaries, Aluminum radiator, flex fan blade with electric fan in front of the radiator, headers, flow masters, Zoom clutch, 4sp trans w/ Hurst shifter, 8 3/4 rear with 3.55 gears (somebody previous to the last owner, swapped out the Dana 60 for the 8 3/4 and I don't know why) New Reproduction Magnum 500 wheels (8" in front and 10" in back) It WILL break em' loose! No POWER anything, except that 440 engine! Considering a 5 or 6 speed trans and maybe a power rack & pinion steering conversion. Runs Great AND will definitely TALK to you through the Flow Masters!;)

My 2006 R/T was stock for two weeks when I brought it home in August of 2006. The first up grade was the Zoomers and the 69 Charger R/T badges on the front and back. Then came the hood, the halos, the painted inside of the headlights, then the painted grill, then the 87mm TB with MSD, and the tune

Just realized that I had not been keeping up with this one. AND I also realized that I hadn't thanked everyone for the comments on my GTX. Sorry all, I DO appreciate the comments. The GTX takes me back like a "Blast From The PAST!" Especially when I nail the accelerator!:D

Pretty peppy lil' rig. Supposed to be putting out over 200hp and with the cam dialed in should be a bit over 300horse! Supposed to be about the same as the '87 GLHS Shelby Charger (last year of it) I'll go elsewhere and post the details of it as I know it, if there is interest.:)

Hawk, just as soon as I can locate the paperwork on it, I'll post it up. There's alot of detail to this thing. I know that the master cylinder and the rear disc brakes (originals had drum rear brakes), along with the shift cables (original had linkage that would come loose at the most inconvenient times) and wheels came from a Shelby Daytona Z. And the intercooler for the turbo system, came from an SRT4. It's got an MSD ignition unit and an electric fuel pump that has a huge output.

Problem is, it is down at the moment. Somehow, I lost power to the distributor and to the fuel pump. It seems that there are some fusible links and the guy I got it from, told me of this, but neglected to include any info as to where they are! He wanted me to call him if I had any issues with the car and " would talk me through the thing, to determine the problem!" Well, as soon as a buddy of mine and I can get the time to get together and check this thing OUT, we will do so AND ALL fusible links WILL BE REPLACED WITH FUSES!:rolleyes:
