Ok...so the object is to get the door molding from the outside...

onto the interior trim. They will cover the chrome strip

Heat the adhesive

Remove adhesive tape

Clean with alcohol

Get some touch up paint

Also clean the door trim

Paint the end that was cut

Get some quality 3M adhesive tape from the local auto parts store

Apply 3M tape to molding strip

Cut

They're all ready to install

Start with first one by removing the covering to expose outer tape (side that will go against the door)

Thanks for the complement bro, but I got the idea from OKCharger after he saw a thread on the Z by Torredguy. I had to do some research tho and definitely may be the first to do it in this way. Thanks again!
