Mike, Edw, and I talked briefly on the rt66 cruise about a gtg for October that was non car show in nature. It was suggested the chapter do a cruise and cookout at Greenleaf lake.

I believe next to Claremore lake it would be an awesome place to meet and have a fun afternoon. Plenty of things to do, including fishing. This would be a family event.

If the chapter would like to do plan an event, I'd need some volunteers for charcoal, and paperware and everyone would probably want to bring a pass around dish and thier own beverage and meat. I believe that would make it fair for all. I'd be happy to grab some charcoal and something to start it ablaze with :).

There are five weekends in Oct... the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. The 15th is out because of Chryslers in the Canyon.

Any interest? Don't be shy! :p

Everyone should bring a potluck dish and thier own burgers or hotdogs for cooking.

We'll make a vat of baked beans with meat...should keep us warm LOL!



Also bring your fishin' poles if you fish, just in case it's still warm enough to!
