Havn't met you yet Daak...I'm Ken. Glad you made it man and question. Whats the diff in the police 5.7 if ya don't mind my ignorance...

Unlike the civilian version, the police version features upgraded heavy-duty brakes, a severe-duty cooling system, police-performance Electronic Stability Program, police performance-tuned steering, and a gear shifter that is mounted on the steering column instead of in the center console. In place of the center console, Dodge has equipped the police edition with a steel plate appropriate for mounting radio equipment, computers, and controllers for lights and sirens. The vehicle's electrical system is specifically designed for integration of siren and light controls, and other police vehicle accessories.

Ken the Police version has better suspension, handeling, brakes and more. Daak can fill you in on the rest. He knows them pretty good:)

Is Daak's the real Police version of the Charger, or is it a "Mall Cop" version? :confused:

And yes.. The basic Police Package for 07 had SRT equivalent Suspension, Better brakes, free-er flowing exhaust and intake, similar to the Daytona, high output alternator, no center console, dash mounted shifter, SE seats, option of vinyl flooring, built in headlamp and tail lamp flashers, optional full size spare(= no trunk room...lol) steel wheels, Performance tuned steering, police wiring connectors in dash. performance cooling. the street appearance package had se wheels, se badges and crome grill... but mine sounds and IS faster than your average real police charger...until they started with this pursuit Charger package..... looks like an SE.... but has 6.1L under the "stock" hood...

whoa hey now... thats below the belt... im still pissed about that... almost makes me cry... lol it'll get fixed... along with my mopower 3 piece spoiler getting painted..... but thats gotte get ordered first....but before that i gotta go get all my birthday money from my family.... haha but yes i will be getting a Mopower 3 piece spolier... gonna talk to ross about paint and install...
