View Full Version : STL Mod Night?
Heya All,
I was wondering if anyone had any projects laying around and might be into a mod night.
I have a radar detector that I took out of my window cause I couldn't stand looking at the cord anymore, but it isn't protecting much in my glove box... So I'd like to hardwire it in.
Happy to donate my garage it's not big but it's big enough for a Charger, and I have a kerosene heater to keep it warm if need be. That and I'd be happy to donate some beer to the evening.
Anyone interested in setting something up?
Jeff
scott386 12-15-2011, 02:05 AM It's a good idea Jeff thanks....
But I have nothing planed right now...
OMFGZ 12-15-2011, 07:31 PM Sounds good to me. Just have to find something to put on :D
yomenow 12-16-2011, 12:39 PM LOL..... I need a tune up and some front brakes...was waiting for spring to do it ....also wanting to paint my calibers .... getting too cold :D
Yo
09 Plym 12-16-2011, 11:50 PM A new hood, change out rear differential and axles, pull the transmission and clutch, install hood pins, new power steering pump, finish brake duct hoses and fans. And that is just what I have parts for... I think it will take more than a few beers to do these.
Jarhead11 12-17-2011, 01:00 AM hey 09 plym, if you need an extra hand after January 1st and weather is cooperative I could make a trip up probably! I get all my days back of vacation, etc after the first working day of the year!
ShadowG5 12-17-2011, 02:03 AM I might be getting some new halo fog lights and HID'S
No ConeSS 12-18-2011, 01:46 AM I don't have any parts for the things I want to do, but if scheduling permits, I'd be up to lending a hand to help others with their mods.
OMFGZ 12-18-2011, 06:39 PM I also was thinking of lowering mine about 2 inches. May look into some coilover kits. Anyone selling some?
09 Plym 12-20-2011, 11:28 AM I am still waiting to close on a house in the country. I won't be doing any mods until I can move into it. Best guess is January before that is ready.

I'm originally from St. Peters, what part are you in now? Where is "the country" you speak of?
09 Plym 12-21-2011, 12:43 PM I live near St. Peters City hall currently, but will be moving to Moscow Mills in a few weeks. It is a few miles south of Troy, MO. The new place has 3 acres of land and a 30' x 50' shop out back. I will finally be able to keep my trailer at my house and have a shop that is separate from the garage!
Sorry for the delay here. Between the holidays and some travel I have coming up for work, and giving some reasonable kind of notice, I've had a hard time trying to come up with a date.
I'm also a bit worried about the weather. My little kerosene heater does an ok job of heating up the garage if the door is closed for a bit and it's not too cold out. Then of course there is the chance of snow.
How about a tentative date January 28th.
I'll provide some beer and soda, and some food (not sure what yet though). We can set the start time based on projects and who wants to come.
Let me know if you'd like to join the fun!
Jeff
No ConeSS 12-29-2011, 07:31 PM I won't have anything to do to my car, but I'll be more than happy to show up and give a hand, or be part of the peanut gallery/"all you gotta do is..." crowd.
HeidiRT2010 01-03-2012, 07:07 PM I probably won't be able to make that date.. but I'll let Ryan know, he will need to install a new tail light (oh wait I gotta order it first) on the Ram. Regardless, he'd probably come just to hang out and help.
yomenow 01-05-2012, 12:27 PM Just let me know Jeff and if weather is cool I will be there!
Yo
red09SXT 01-19-2012, 11:02 PM Nothing to install here but it sounds like something fun to get out of the house for. Let us know!
Heya All,
I've been thinking about mod night, and I've got nothing to do.... I couldn't wait to put my new parts on, so everything is in and working right now. I've got parts for a Frankentake IV CAI on the way to build, but it's like a 15 min project... A couple cuts and bolt it all up. From the responses, I don't think anyone else really has anything to work on either.
I don't really know how these mod nights work. I went over to Landon's on night while I was in OKC and it was fun, but I am starting to think they are more of a quick thing than a planned thing. I do have a Danko grill and front spoiler on order, and I'd love a hand with those, but I don't know when they will come in. I think they are still weeks out. I'd really like a hand or two if anyone has the time when they come in. I saw Landon's front end pulled off, but it makes me a bit nervous....
So, I'd like to salvage the weekend. The St Louis Auto Show is next weekend. Would anyone be down with going to that instead? meetup downton, and go to the show. maybe dinner too! I'll get a new thread going so it's nice and clean.
Jeff
