Well, I knew I should have dropped the money into an alarm already but I've been putting it off to do other mods.

Was raining last night and we went to get groceries and burgers. Got back to the house and was hurrying to get everything in so we could get out of the rain and eat. I guess I forgot to lock it I guess because when the wife went out this morning the driver side door was open. Insides are soaking wet but I guess my mean ass dog scared whoever it was away because nothing is missing!!! I remember hearing her going nuts last night but didn't think anything of it at the time.

I've never had a problem before last night, I've even left the garage standing open before.

Obviously the next mod is going to be a nice alarm as well as a huge bag of cookies for the dog!

I want something with a 2 way remote, shock sensor and motion sensors. Anyone got one they would recommend that works really well? Not really worried about remote start but I do want the 2 way remote so that I can see if it's armed and such.

At least they didnt come into your house.

The one time I had accidently left my truck ( my old Ram ) doors unlocked, someone got in there and stole my stuff.

Sucks people have to steal.

Sorry to hear that Darin. At least your family is safe and nothing was taken. I would contact Ryval on the 'Z'. Thats what he does and has great info on them. I have also heard good things about the Viper.I really like my alarm system though. My dog, my 9mm and my street howitzer.

:( Sorry that happened. I'm a private person and someone being in my car without permission would geek me out. Did you manage to get it dried out? as for the alarms...I'm not such a fan. I work on a campus and they go off all the time. No one ever looks to see if someones stuff is getting jacked-we all just get annoyed looks on our faces and mumble "turn it OFF! I'm in the middle of a report!" LOL but it would be helpful at the house for while you're sleeping....

Was raining most of the day and I was working on computers. Didn't get a change to dry it out yet but got towels in there to try and soak some up. Not worried about them getting in the house, 7.62 full metal jacket ends that pretty quick. I've had a few cars jacked, though the last time when I caught them in the act and let them hear my 357 talk to them, that was the last time in that neighborhood. Nothing like a pissed off indian with a hand cannon wearing nothing but his boxers to change a thieving SOBs mind.

I used damp rid when I left my window down a bit during a rainstorm. Worked pretty good. I also vacuumed up as much as I could and so forth, but it couldn't hurt.

:) It's great stuff. Kept my car from smelling funky in summer after it got soaked. I was worried it would smell for months...but I didn't have any problems.

when I first got my car, I left the back two rolled down, I was used to two-doors and forgot I had four. Just so happened we had the worst rainstorm in years that day. Anyway... someone told me about this product, I didnt use it, but they said it rockt.
