Thanks Phil... we're glad to be home but sad for having to leave. Got to meat from great people and watch some cool drags. With some of the time/people running, I shoulda hopped on the track myself. I'm sure I can pull a better time than the 18/19 second times I was seeing.
Was a lot of fun to chat and see the slick rides people had out there. Also got to meet up with some old friends that I haven't heard from in a while. She's getting married Halloween and having a Celtic wedding kilts and all! Had some GREAT BBQ too, damn she is a good cook LOL!

Man, wish you could have PMed me some of that BBQ! HaHa

Oh man... There was Chicken, Hot Links, Sausage, Brisket, Ribs, Potato salad, mashed tatters, corn on the cob, 4 loaves of fresh bread, iced tea... I think I gained 5 pounds or more this weekend.

Good afternoon everybody!

Dont yall just love when you clean the car up all nice and purrty and then it gets dirty that night lol saturday i woke up at 730 and cleaned her all up inside and out, it was spotless, after the cruise the mud slowly started to build up then saturday night we took a trip out in the boonies and when i woke up the next day it looked like i went muddin!:eek: I mean mud inside and out, it was badd! And now its monday and been rainin since last night! gotta love it!

LOL, know the feeling. I washed before I went to South Texas, rained the day before we left, rained the day we left and was raining most of the way there. Went to meet people at the track so we hit the car wash. After driving down the gravel road to get back to dads it was dirty yet again! On the way back from dads we hit some severe rain and all that dirt turned to mud, most was washed away with the monsoon rains. Sad thing is I have some new beauty marks on the driver side. Durring the rain there was something in the highway and I didn't see it in time to try and avoid it. Got some scratches now, gotta clean the car up and see just how bad. Then I get to contact the insurance and see if they want to mess with it but it looks like it might have knocked the driver side rocker loose.

Oh and can we get a sticky for the chatter box here? Give us a place to just throw general chatter instead of opening 20 threads a week.

Ahh man thats rough! I hate it when stuff like that happens. It was raining when i got my new wheels put on a couple weeks ago and me and the gf were drivin to her friends house and out of nowhere a fork just appears in the road, it was too late to dodge it. I got made fun of for it but i stopped right there and made sure it wasnt stuck in my tire, thank god it wasnt!

Don't know yet... the one that I've really seen is about 4 inches or so and deep enough... Waiting to get it cleaned up so that I can see any others.

any chance that clay bar or wet sanding can get it out? i clay bared a couple scratches towards my rear (looked like someone keyed?) and it helped but still wouldnt come out and when i demolded/debadged and had the car wet sanded the guy helped me out and touched up that spot. One of the workers at the shop said it wouldnt come out with wet sanding but it came out and now you cant even tell!

Maybe but I don't know if the rocker is ok or hurt. At least the scratches that I've seen are on the rocker only. Though it might not matter if Ross ever lets me know what he wants for the set of rockers he might have soon.

Chained to the fence, didn't feel like doing anything today. Kinda tired and a little sore. Slept on a small bed and that caused me to get a crick in my neck. Wife and I on a single, I'm 6ft 220lbs.. she's only 5'1" and 95lbs but that's still too small a bed.

Just got my statement in for my 1st car payment on the Charger. I knew it was going to be some less, that I thought it was gonna be (nearly $60 a month less) and THAT's cool. At first, they were saying about $34 less. Sure feels GOOD to be a part of the Charger Community!:cool:

All depends on what you got in mind, and besides that, I'd get Air, instead of hydraulics. :)

I know the feeling! I THOUGHT I had MY decision made on the hood for MY R/T. I REALLY wanted a "Shaker" til I realized that the scoop part was gonna cover up my engine. I just got through pulling off my engine cover and exposing the engine and didn't WANT TO just turn around and cover it right back up! :rolleyes: So, THAT ONE is OUT!
