Are the valve cover gaskets reuseable? I want to remove them to clean them and to inspect the rocker arms and valve springs, but wanna make sure I can just pop them back on when I'm done.

I checked the 2008 Charger service manual for the 5.7L engine and here is ehat it says:

NOTE: The gasket (2) may be used again, provided no cuts, tears, or deformation has occurred.

I was supposed to drive from StL to Joplin tomorrow. I called the customer and they agreed to do the meeting over the phone so I can avoid spending the night in some ditch.

Now I just need to move the speaker phone to the garage so I can work on the car and listen to the meeting at the same time...
