How to paint your center stack

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I haven't found a post on how to do this so I made one if anyone's interested.
Tools: pocket flat head screwdriver, soft cloth, 4mm socket, 1/4 drive ratchet, very small paint brush.

1- Remove center stack by prying up carefully at the top with the pocket screwdriver. I put the cloth behind mine to prevent scratching. Once you get one clip relaesed just use your hands to carefully pull out the rest of the clips. Then remove the wiring connectors.

2- Remove the rubber mat in the storage compartment

3-Next remove the A/C vents using the pocketscrewdriver to relase the retaining clips carefully.

5- Next remove the A/C control panel by removing the 4 4mm screws one at each corner.

6- Now you are ready for prep and paint. Use a good adhesion promoter.

10- Now its time to put it back in the vehicle. It will just clip right back in.

Looks great Ed. Thanks for the how too. There are some paints for plastic that don't require a promoter as well. Though they won't match the factory paint colors.
