I rented a ball joint tool kit from Advanced Auto Parts and got lucky that I did not need the hammer near as much as expected.

Most of the work on the front suspension is done now except powder coating some shock brackets and installing the brake rotor backing plates from ET1970 when they are done.

The rear bushings and sway bar are also done, just need to do a little paint touch up before I put the rear cradle back in the car.

The transmission is next...

Then there is the ... and the ... and don't forget all of the ...

Default Another Productive Weekend

Due to the snow, I got out of many of my weekend chores and got to work in the garage.

It was a productive weekend, I finished the Pedders bushings for the rear cradle, dropped the transmission and finalized the details on some homegrown adjustable sway bar links.

Next weekend I will finish the sway bar links and install some S/S brake lines.

Thanks,

I am having fun. It is nice to work on a car that does not have any rusty bolts for a change. I know my limits so that is why I am sending out the transmission. Later when I save up the funds for a motor upgrade, I will pay to have it built. I know how, but also know there are others that do it for a living and do it better than I could.
