Default Magnum grill install...

Ordered a Danko grill in January... Finally arrived a few weeks ago and started the in stall......

Having the license plate holes filled and going to install this plate frame...

The plate slides under the car hidden away....

Problem one.....The back ring didn't fit.. Was just a touch too small...

picture in your mind a tupperware lid that's too small for the bowl..

Then the fit in the front was poor and didn't follow the lines of the grill opening....

So much for all the talk I"ve heard about Danco quality....

So the only thing could do is spend more money having it molded it....

Start of molding it in....

And the first coat of primer.....

This is where it's at right now.....More pic's soon....

So I got from this story that you got the only Magnum that had a front clip that wasn't buit to spec..... LMAO

I couldn't help feel your pain. Thankfully you have the skills to overcome the adversity. That is what doing stuff yourself is all about. It is a big PITA in the begining but the gratification at a successfully completed project is second to none.

Great job!!!

Same this happened when I was going to put a extreme dimensions bumper on...

I'm not able to do this kind of work (no garage) but have a very understanding body shop doing the work...
