Default Flex a lite #183 Electric Fan Kit Install

2007 Ram 1500 electric fan install. I've had my kit for a couple of months and finally got around to installing it today. All in all it is pretty straight forward, except the instructions never mention where to install the fan control module. I never use butt connectors so I soldered and heat shrinked every connection minus the female spade connectors that you must use to connect to the fan control module. What I did notice right off the bat is the truck idled smoother, I guess the old fan added a little vibration to the mix... . I am hoping for a little fuel mileage gain and maybe some horse power as well. Also note that fan belt replacement will be much easier next time, not that it's a hard one to replace. Anway here are some pics I took as I was doing this project.

Should see some increases in HP & MPG... those clutch fans are heavy and create some parasitic drag.

Yep, they are pretty heavy. This should also extend the waterpumps life, another added benefit!!!
