I'm not trying to criticize your work but PLEASE go back in and remove those nuts and either solder or use crimp connectors. Wire nuts are for HOME use ONLY. You never want to use them in automotive use. Solder is best but crimp connector are cheap and easy to use.

Great write up on how to remove the console and install the LEDs. The connectors are a safety issue and I would hate to see all your hard work cause a problem for you to loose you baby.

It's all good, a lot of people don't know that those are for home use only. I've done automotive wiring for years. Hit the home depot and get some crimp connects (blue ones would prob work best for what your doing or maybe even red). Can get a large package for like 10 bucks I think. All you need is a cheap wire crimping tool, color match the crimps to the tool marks (Most are Red, Blue, Yellow) and squeeze. It's that simple.

I agree with Darin on this. However I would use these connectors especially under the center console. They are weatherproof so any moisture from a spilled drink or whatever will not get in the connection. They have heatshrink in them so after you crimp the connection you just heat up the ends of the connectors and it will shrink making a nice tight fit and won't allow moisture in.You can pick them up at O'Reilly's
